Eric McCarthy dug the first
Society of Friends in-store gig so much that he had them back. And joining
them on the bill was Bell Five Horizon Hour. Bell Five delivered a dose of
psychadelic shronk that rattled around in folks' brains for a while.
Society then let rip with one of the more vicious sets of their lifetime,
jamming on weird rock riffs, playing James Tenney's "Having Never Written
a Note for Percussion," performing the old-time favorite "Yoda," and
ending it all by turning out all the lights in the store, cranking strobe
lights, and letting loose a wall of tremendous feedback. Another triumph
for the Society. |
