The prospect
of playing a gig in Pete Nolan's basement was too bitchin'
to pass up, so the trio packed their stuff, gathered
the troops, and went down to Hartford. Nolan rocked
solo as The Charles Ives Youth, sticking vacuum cleaners
to his leg and shit. You should have been there. The
Son of Earths played a quiet and rumbly set, which really
treated the stoned/drunk audience right. The Double
Leopards were ungodly and amazing. Drones, echoing vocals,
strange violins, great vibes. NIIIIIICE!
